So many people asked me how do we do it, How do we sit down and stare at a machine for hours at the time, instead of doing something else.
Well the answer is quite simple frankly. It's like reading a good book, you just don't realized how long you spent on it until sundown. That's how designing feels like. You have all these wonderful ideas in your head, and you need to use them or they'll keep hazzling your brain until you let them Live outside of your mind. That happends once they are completed.
I know it sounds like i need to go to therapy but it's so true, it's such an involved carreer. And yes even thought it seems like any other office job, it's so not. Even thought we are visual comunicators and we do this for living , we all do take it really seriously. I know many people think that creative people and serious don't go together, well when it comes to our arts, it certainly does.
Sometimes i wish i was an author, or wish i was a musician, where the fruit of your works is not taken for granted as a movil comodity, and made a communality when anybody thinks that by typing something on the computer in word and using papyrus they are designers. But hey that's why they are good design and awfull design. My wishfull thinkning says I'm on the first batch, or so i hope.
